Leucht – Candle-Powered Illumination
Developed in response to the threat of power shortages during the winter of 22/23, Leucht is a functional candle-powered emergency light. The goal was to create an off-grid light source capable of providing targeted illumination.
Leucht features a specialized reflector that directs light downwards, illuminating the immediate area and making it easier to identify obstacles in a room. This precise light guidance ensures that essential tasks—such as reading, cooking, or personal hygiene—can be performed safely and efficiently during a blackout. Additionally, the design is fully collapsible and fits into a flat-pack A4 format, allowing for space-saving storage and effortless assembly.
