Industrial Designer
I am Philipp Rast, an industrial designer based in Zurich.
In my studio, I develop systems and objects defined by structural clarity and immediate legibility. My approach merges industrial logic with a consistently user-centered perspective.
My design perspective was deeply informed by my background in childcare leadership. Following this, I developed the modular furniture system Formich, founded a startup of the same name, and completed my studies at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
Today, I work for international brands such as IKEA as well as on independent projects.
